Tha Eastsidaz - “Gang Bang Muzik” LP

So in the spirit of the holidays and all (whatever…it’s close enough) I figured it was time to hit all you Hustla readers with some free heatery that y’all may have missed out on.  I try to do this every now and then and this time i’m giving y’all Tha Eastsidaz unreleased album, Gang Bang Muzik.  What’s inside the link is a 2-disc bootleg.  I originally had the REAL thing when it was supposed to drop in 2003 all thanks to my main man Sampson S.  Having the real thing also meant having the actual tracklisting.  I WANNA say there was originally about 14 tracks and all of those tracks are on this 2-disc bootleg but not in the correct order.  In addition there’s about 10 other tracks that probably weren’t gonna make the album that someone was able to get their hands on.  Luckily it doesn’t matter what order they are in cuz 95% of the tracks are ridiculous.  This may have been the last TRUE Cali-style West Coast album on a major label and features some of Jelly Roll’s and Battlecat’s most insane beats ever!  It’s my understanding that it got shelved not only because Tray Dee caught 12 years on an attempted murder charge but also because Snoop was having a falling out with Tray Dee and Goldie Loc at the time and since they were on Dogghouse Records, Snoop basically said “fuck you!” and put Gang Bang Muzik on ice. My personal favorites are “Bottom Girl”, “Friday Night”, “Blue Suede Shoes”, “Hard Times” f. Redman, “Let’s Go” f. Nate Dogg, “Real Talk” f. MC Ren, “Rug Burns” f. Kokane & “Parkin’ Lot Pimpin”.  That’s a lot of favorites so there’s obviously BANGERS contained within.  Get this shit while it’s hot.
