SK - Late Arrival (Mixtape)

SK drops his first mixtape, mixed by Swervewon. SK is appealingly earnest, sounding especially dope on more soulful joints like “Hate” and “Fool”; kudos for including the little-heard remix of D.Black’s “Yesterday” featuring the whole Sportn Life roster. Vocally kinda reminds me of Young Gunz’ Neef Buck (who I happen to like; the Philly Roc movement in general was underappreciated. Anyway.) Good stuff; the squad is mean though, I’d love to hear more of them vibing off of each other! Download/stream that joint below.

This is one of my favorites from the Sportn Lifers right now.  It’s no mean feat to make a dope track like Yesterday even better, but they do it.
