The beats, courtesy Blue Sky Black Death, are even darker, just pure Ridley Scott Alien lost-in-a-hostile-galaxy slaps. That grimness is matched in Nacho’s bored G nihilism but ever-leavened by his goofy, family-sized non sequiturs: ”I’m with Amanda Knox/lip-syncing Diana Ross.”
If you’re looking for sprawling insights or anything resembling “feel good”, this is not for you; over the course of this tape, Nacho smokes weed, talks shit and of course fucks your bitch—but not much else. If you need enlightenment, I suggest meditation. If you want some quality, homegrown ignorant rap, look no farther.
