Mos Def at Sasquatch

Goddamn...this performance happened at a beautiful time of day/evening. I lost my shit when Mighty Mos started rapping over Oh No’s Dr. No’s album. That shit was my SHIT last year.

When I was listening to that Turkish/Anatolian psych rock hiphop all last year, it was at my old spot on 26th and Cherry, “The Harvey,” the assisted housing next to Meskel. I vividly remember sipping some khat, banging tunes as loud as they’d go, sniffing the wafts of butter/lamb from ol’ Ethi-ro-ro. Damn, I miss that place. And I only moved a few blocks away.

Thats a real dope video...ehh i got a question for yall...that new Snowgoons album says its got Brainstorm on there...im hoping its Brainstorm from the round here...i know they had Boom Bap on a cd a lil awhile so im guessing they got some connects out here
