Hawthorne Headhunters Mixtape!
If anyone remembers, a couple month ago I took some time to highlight former Footprints’ and Seattle-reppin’ MC Proh Mic’s new, funktastic project called Hawthorne Headhunters. Well Proh, along with group cohorts Black Spade (aka Stoney Rock) and Ced No, have finally released their first official mixtape of material and like all good mixtapes of the day...IT’S FREE!!! Vocally, it’s a little bit rap, a little bit R n B. The tape comprises either group, solo or collab tracks (and a few instrumentals for you rappers out there) and they all knock...even the songs where they sangin’. My favorite tracks so far at the intro track, “Cosmic Beauty”, produced by Proh Mic as well as “Bang Smooth” (also Proh Mic), “Smile” (Proh Mic) and “Solar Madness” (Hawthorne Headhunters). This mixtape is definitely worth your time especially if you like 80’s funk and electro and a little singing with your raps. It’s all mixed up by DJ Needles and can be gotten for the $FREE.99 right HERE!!!
