Four Tet and Burial
It’s like R. Kelly and Jay-Z, the Mudede version.

“Moth” is killing so hard.
Driving at night music is my favorite, these days, second only to headphone music. Burial and Four Tet are masters of these genres. Both producers do a lot with coin drops and metallic pinging or ringing or whatever that sound is. Burial has that “these beats sounds kind of wet” thing (aquacrunk? proto-aquacrunk? fuck, I don’t know...I’m embarrassing myself even talking about it...) and Four Tet’s all about washes and crispness and atmosphere with real warm melodies. It’s a perfect marriage.

The Four Tet remixes of some of the madvialliany tracks are insane. I need to get some more of their shit.

yeah, the madvillain remixes ARE insane. that’s a good album, the remix/remixed one. four tet and burial are both good “if you’ve heard one song, and you like it, you’ll like everything they do” artists.
