DMS - Takin Ends LP
A month or two back at The Corner, after They Live did our thing onstage, this cat named Dee.aLe walked up and gave us a lot of love. After that, he proceeded to get on on the mic and tear that shit down his damnself. I was thoroughly impressed- and wondered how I could never have heard of the dude. Talking to him afterwards, I realized I had- he’s the “D” from DMS, an OG Seatle crew best known for “Keep Da Change” off of 14 Fathoms Deep- and of course “Back Up Off My Tip” off of their debut album Takin’ Ends. Which you should know about.
I remember seeing DMS perform at WWU with a band, dancing girls, and a whole production. I really thought cats was doin it. Then they mostly disappeared- so it’s good to see D doing shit like this:

thanx for puttin me on to these cats....im pretty fly with the local music, but i can say i aint ever heard these cats....good looks, hit me up on my e-mail, im interested in more music from the NW...i got some dope stuff if u wanna trade too....206 an up!!!!
