Dark Time Sunshine - “Sleestack Payback/All Aboard”

Directed by Christian Hansen, who’s been killing it for a minute. It’s damn rare that a rap song (or a couple of them in this case) have such a lushly photographed, non-literal visual component like this; it seems to me that with Dark Time Sunshine, and producer Alex Zavala, NW hiphop veterano Onry Ozzborn (AKA Cape Cowen) has realized all of the artistic ambitions he’s held for years, refining a hiphop as clearly informed by Dummy as Follow The Leader. Their sophomore album Vessel comes out 4/20- if you missed DTS at Neumos last week, it’s possible they might pop up at any local shows going on during the smoker’s holiday.
