My dude Chris Estey just put me onto his guys Born Anchors- whose upcoming album Sprezzatura (due in March) is currently beating the sides of my face in (these iPhone earbuds are fucking loud, Helms Alee almost got me hit by a fucking bus the other day). These guys apparently get the U2 comparison a lot, which is lost on me because I spent my life running far, far from U2.

Sprezzatura is by turns splatteringly hard and seriously catchy on a level that mono would be jealous of. I know this city is always choked with top-tier talent, and god knows I’m not finger on the pulse of the rock scene guy- but the town seems just a little more awash in awesome than usual.
